Q: How can you stop some noise, but still let some sounds through?
A: The SonoCustom are equipped with acoustic filters that allow the user to hear people talking without removing the HPDs from the ears. Sonomax can also equip its hearing protectors with radio communication units for more challenging noise environments where communication is critical.
Q: How do you know if Sonomaxs SonoCustom actually work?
A: SonoPass, our proprietary Windows-based software, drives the fitting process and provides immediate proof of functionality. This is achieved by generating a quantified pink noise sweep (representative of all frequencies from 63HZ to 8000HZ) into your ear, via a speaker. while the Sonomax HPDs are being worn and measuring the amount of sound actually getting through to the ear on the other side.
A specially designed microphone and testing chamber built into the SonoCustom make this objective calculation of noise reduction possible.
Q: How long does it take to get them?
A: It literally takes a few minutes to fit someone with Sonomax hearing protectors and verify that they are doing the job. We allow about 20 to 30 minutes. This allows time to fit, test and educate each person on hearing loss and the use and care of their new protectors.
Q: What is the best way to keep them clean?
A: The SonoCustom is very easy to maintain, mostly you can wipe them with a tissue. Washing them as easy as washing your hands& simply use mild soap and water.
Q: Who are Sonomax approved staff?
A: To ensure quality and consistency, every function within the sales, training, and implementation of the Sonomax Solution has been documented and is taught in professional courses administered by Sonomax. |
